Mission:

The Chemehuevi Cultural Center is a community based organization that promotes the preservation and development of both traditional and contemporary Chemehuevi heritage. The Chemehuevi Cultural Center provides an interactive and educational environment where Chemehuevi elders and culture bearers contribute to the educational development and growth of the younger Chemehuevi generation.

The staff demonstrates a commitment to assist our tribal members  in researching, preserving,  and claiming their rightful history and cultural legacy.
